GENERAL

All Members agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions of Queensland Rugby League (QRL) Maroon Memberships.

Sale of Maroon Membership creates a contract between the QRL and the purchaser which gives the purchaser a transferable but conditional licence for admission to the specified match/s. This Membership may not without prior consent of the QRL, be resold or offered for resale (including online auction sites) or used for advertising, promoting or other commercial purposes (including competition and trade promotions) or to enhance the demand for other goods or services, either by the original purchaser or subsequent bearer. If a ticket is sold or used in breach of this condition, the ticket will be cancelled without a refund and the bearer of the ticket may be refused admission. In addition, the resale of tickets in certain circumstances is governed by ticket sales legislation and may attract criminal charges.

A valid residential address must be provided at the time of purchase. Business addresses will not be accepted.

The QRL reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions as may be reasonably necessary from time to time.

All Memberships are inclusive of the specified inclusions at time of purchase. QRL reserve the right to change advertised package inclusions at any time. Membership items cannot be redeemed for cash or discounts.

If any unforeseen circumstances impact on the QRL’s ability to deliver on its representations in the Membership offer, the QRL will not be held liable.
The products and services offered in any sponsor promotional material are not offered by the QRL. The QRL do not accept liability for any product or service referred to in such material, and to the widest extent possible at law excludes all liability with respect to these products and services.

The QRL do not warrant that every request for Membership, ticketing, and/or seating allocation can or will be complied with. Seating is allocated as best available at time of sale.

All Memberships are subject to the terms of ticket sale. All ticket purchasers are bound by the NRL Terms and Conditions, and to the terms of ticket sale with Ticketek found at ticketek.com.au.

All prices advertised are inclusive of GST unless otherwise stated.
The Queensland Rugby League reserve the right to refuse an application for Membership.

TICKET CLASSIFICATIONS

Junior Membership
Junior Memberships are available to those under the age of 16 as at the date of the event.

Concession Membership
Concession status applies to Full government pensioners only (Aged, Invalid, Sole Parent, War Veterans and War Widows). Appropriate proof of concession is required for entry into the ground. Concession prices are not valid to Senior Card holders or the unemployed.

Family Membership
Family Memberships consists of 2 adults and 2 juniors, or 1 adult and 3 juniors (Juniors must be under the age of 16 as at the date of the event).

PERSONAL DETAILS AND MEMBER COMMUNICATIONS

All Members must take responsibility for updating personal details so the QRL can communicate with them effectively. The QRL hold no responsibility for a Member’s failure to update their personal details. To update your personal details please email the Membership Team at memberships@qrl.com.au

MAROON MEMBER NUMBER REGISTRATION

If a Membership was received as a gift, Members must register their Maroon Member number (printed on Member Card) at maroonmember.com.au/register to receive access to Member Benefits such as exclusive team content, invitations to upcoming events and special offers and promotions. To be notified, Members must not have unsubscribed from our emails.

MEMBER PRICING

All renewing 2019 members are entitled to receive discounted early bird member pricing for Adelaide, Sydney and Brisbane 2020 Holden State of Origin matches in the Maroon Member seating bays. Please note, the early bird member pricing is for a limited time and subject to change at any time.

MAROONS SHOP

Member discount

All 2020 Maroon Members are entitled to receive a discount of 10% off apparel at MaroonsShop.com. This discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion or discount and applies to full priced merchandise only. Sale items, Gift Cards, Memorabilia, Auction items, as well as the 2020 Members Hoody, and the $15 Mighty Maroon Membership purchased through MaroonsShop.com are excluded from the 10% Member discount.

The member discount must be applied to your cart before checking out. Alternatively, if you a purchasing a $15 Mighty Maroon Membership through MaroonsShop.com, the 10% discount will automatically be deducted at time of checkout

Gift Cards

Some Maroon Members are entitled to receive a Gift Card which can be deducted from your order at Checkout. As part of some package inclusions, members may receive a $15 or $30 one-off Gift Card. Mighty Maroon members receive a $15 Gift Card; and Platinum and Diamond members are receive a $30 Gift Card as part of the package inclusions. This Gift Card is a physical card that is printed in your member pack that is posted out to you.


Gift Cards cannot be exchanged for cash and the Member must abide by the promoters Queensland Rugby Football League Limited (QRL) Terms and Conditions. Recipients will receive a gift card in their membership packs via post that will include a unique Gift Card code. This code is active once received and can be applied to an order. Customers must apply the full dollar value of their Gift Card to a single order, as Gift Card’s cannot be split over multiple transactions. Gift Cards are only redeemable online via MaroonsShop.com. Gift Cards supplied in the 2020 Maroon Membership packs are valid until 1 December 2020. Gift Card values are limited to $15 for Non-Ticketed Mighty Maroon Members and $30 for Ticketed Platinum and Diamond Members. Gift Cards cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers or coupons, or used on auction or memorabilia items. Gift Cards cannot be redeemed for cash.

P&O TERMS

Scratch Card – 15% discount prize

15% discount is available on Value and Value Plus fares only on P&O Australia cruises departing on Pacific Explorer from Brisbane in 2020 and 2021.

Offer excludes main event cruises. Offer is strictly limited. Offer applies to the first 50 guests to book per cruise.

The discount offer is redeemable, following the confirmation of a booking, by calling 1300 725 417, verifying your membership with a P&O ‘Special Offers’ reservations team member or by emailing special.offers@pocruises.com.au, subject ‘QRL Members discount’ and quoting your booking/confirmation number, membership number and full name; a P&O representative will apply the 15% discount.

Scratch Card – Members Cruise Prize

1. The randomly selected entry, according to the judges, will win a Balcony Room for two people on P&O’s Whitsundays cruise, aboard Pacific Explorer, (X054) departing Brisbane 15 Dec 2020. The prize includes:

a. 4 nights’ accommodation in an Balcony room for two (2) people;

b. onboard main meals (with the exception of those restaurants which have an additional cover charge) for two (2) people; and

c. selected onboard activities, evening entertainment, and access to nightclubs (with the exception of those activities and facilities which have an additional cover charge) for two (2) people.

2. Total prize pool value is up to AU$2,000.00

3. The prize does not include flights and/or transfers to/from the winner’s home to the departure port of Brisbane. Any costs associated with transport to/from the departure port will be the responsibility of the winner and will not be borne by the Promoter. Shore excursions or other onboard activities, spending money, additional meals, taxes, insurance, passports, visas, vaccinations, transfers, items of a personal nature, in-room charges and all other ancillary costs are not included.  Prize must be taken from Brisbane.

4. The winner must be over the age of 18. Alcohol consumption and gambling onboard are restricted to passengers aged 18 years of age or older.

5. The winner and their companion are responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary and valid travel documentation including, passports, any requisite visas and vaccinations.  The winner and travel companion will be responsible for any expenses incurred in obtaining necessary travel documentation, including any fines, or penalties incurred as a result of not having the requisite travel documentation. Itinerary to be determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion. A credit card imprint or cash deposit will be required from the winner at check-in in order to board the cruise ship, for all incidental charges.

6. The prize must be taken on 14 December 2020 which will mark the commencement of the cruise. The prize is only available on this date and cannot be changed once the booking has been made. If the winner and travelling companion are, for whatever reason, unable to travel on the nominated date, or do not take an element of the prize within the time stipulated by the Promoter then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner.

8. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to allow a winner and/or his/her travelling companion to take part in any or all aspects of the prize if it determines in its absolute discretion that a winner and/or his/her travelling companion are not in the mental or physical condition necessary to be able to safely participate in the prize, or if they pose a risk to the safety and wellbeing of any other passenger.

9. If any prize (or part of any prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.

10. Prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.

2020 Member Renewal Prize

The prize is an Oceanview Room for two people on P&O’s State of Origin cruise (W031P) departing Brisbane 19 June 2020. The prize includes:

a. 4 nights’ accommodation in an Oceanview room for two (2) people;

b. onboard main meals (with the exception of those restaurants which have an additional cover charge) for two (2) people; and

c. selected onboard activities, evening entertainment, and access to nightclubs (with the exception of those activities and facilities which have an additional cover charge) for two (2) people.

NRL PRE-SALE ACCESS

Members are entitled to receive pre-sale communications for major NRL events. These emails will be sent only to the Primary Account Holder and Members who have registered their Member number at maroonmember.com.au/register. To receive notifications, Members must not have unsubscribed from our emails. If a Membership was received as a gift, Members must register their Maroon Member number (printed on Member Card) to be eligible for pre-sale communications.

GRASSROOTS $10 CASHBACK OFFER

Offer applies to Mighty Maroon Memberships that are purchased through the Maroon Member website or during season registration via MySideline. Only registered participants of a Rugby League club in Queensland are eligible for this this offer.

PACK AND TICKET DELIVERY

The delivery date of your Membership will depend on the type of Membership you have purchased.

  • Mighty Maroon Non-Ticketed Memberships will commence delivery from mid December 2019.
  • Junior and Heritage Non-Ticketed Memberships will commence delivery form February 2020.
  • Ticketed Memberships will begin delivery from March 2020.

Once your pack has been dispatched, you will receive an email with tracking information. Please allow up to 4 weeks to receive your items after your pack is dispatched.

All Ticketed Members can collect their game day merchandise from the Maroon Members collection point outside the Stadium entrance for Adelaide, Sydney and Brisbane games. Members will need to display a valid match ticket and Member card to receive their game day merchandise from the Queensland Rugby League. You will be notified prior to game day with details on pickup locations and other important match day information.

REFUND POLICY

QRL does not offer a refund for change-of-mind purchases. Ticketed Memberships will not be refunded based on specific seat allocations or dissatisfaction with the provision of the individual elements of the entitlements.

Memberships can only be returned for a refund if merchandise is deemed faulty or damaged. Faulty items must be returned within a reasonable amount of time. A refund will only be granted after a thorough inspection of merchandise, and QRL reserves the right to deny any refund requests if it does not believe an item to have a manufacturing fault or significant damage.

Refunds will be provided in the same form as the original payment. Any items to be returned (along with the purchase receipt) should be sent to:

PRIVACY AND PROMOTIONS

You consent to personal information you have provided to the QRL or NRL (excluding any details related to methods of payment) being provided to sponsors for the purpose of offers and discounts that may be of interest to you.

As a Member, you may be provided with promotional offers from our sponsors. However, if you would prefer not to receive marketing/promotional material, please email the Membership Team to at memberships@qrl.com.au to have your details removed from all future marketing and promotional databases.

QRL and the NRL and we have procedures in place to ensure that your information remains confidential. We are mindful that your personal details are private and as such, we will only disclose your information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988.

MEMBER BEHAVIOUR

If a Member breaches the QRL Code of Conduct or otherwise engages in behaviour deemed inappropriate or unbecoming as a Member of the QRL, the QRL reserves the right unconditionally to terminate the Membership in which case the Member forfeits their membership rights and will not be entitled to a refund of their Membership fees.

The QRL reserve the right to suspend/cancel a Membership of any Member who behaves in a manner that is deemed to be inappropriate. Please be mindful of those around you, and immediately report anything you deem to be inappropriate to the stand manager at the top of your aisle on game day so the matter can be dealt with immediately. The QRL have the right to decide what inappropriate conduct is. The Member has no right to object to or appeal against any decision by the QRL to suspend or cancel a Membership as a consequence of the Member acting in a manner the QRL consider is inappropriate.

ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS & CONDITIONS
